In a nutshell

Toyota Motor Europe offers an 18-month Graduate Program in warehouse operations at its Parts Centre in Diest, Belgium. The key task first is to join a project called warehouse reborn (very large transformation project to improve Safety, Ergonomics, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency & Members). Also, the role combines training and hands-on experience, leading to a supervisor position managing a team of around 30 members. Ideal candidates have a background in engineering, logistics, or automotive, are fluent in Dutch and English, and show strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Parts Supply Chain Group mission is to deliver the right product (service parts, accessories and information) at the right time, through lean integrated logistics, exceeding Customer & Stakeholder expectation, with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

 

Warehouse Reborn is a large-scale transformation project where the whole warehouse operation is transformed to support future business growth and challenges. The focus points are to increase our members safety, ergonomics, as well as the efficiency of the flows and the density of the storage thanks to innovative ideas and products.

You will first join Warehouse Reborn project (18 months minimum) before transferring into Warehouse Supervisor role (shift pattern).

 

Your responsibilities

 

Warehouse Reborn project leader:

  • Think ahead: develop the strategy (goals, stakeholders, planning…)
  • Convince and collaborate to reach consensus
  • Implement the project with ownership
  • Follow up and communicate your deliverables
  • Reflect on the learnings and share with the organisation

Warehouse supervisor:

  • Lead and develop 4 team leaders and 32 members
  • Performance reporting
  • Ensure your area has the right resources to perform the tasks
  • Implementation and follow up standardised work
  • Solve problem with Toyota methodology

 

Your Profile

 For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) and dutch
  • You are a career starter (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
  • You have a bachelor / master degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering
  • Your values are in line with the Toyota way
  • You have experience in project management
  • You are analytical and can visualise data
  • You are structured, logical and rational
  • You are a team player with excellent communication & collaboration skills
  • You take initiative and ownership
  • You want to lead and manage a team in an operational environment
  • You have a desire to learn, grow and develop your skills & competences
  • You master Excel, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools
