Team description

 

Engineering Data Management (EDM) department is part of Research & Development Technology, Operation & Process division at Toyota Motor Europe Technical Center in Zaventem, Belgium. 

Our division supports R&D mission by ensuring availability and optimal use of resources in required quantity, quality and timely manner by providing engineering data timely and correctly to all involved parties.

 

Your responsibilities

 

As CAD Data specialist, your role will be to collect overall project & vehicle development information for planning, kicking off & improving engineering technical information and data release processes related to: RFQ for vehicle system & components, BOM, 2D & 3D release scheduling with up/downstream divisions & Toyota Japan to ensure project targets are met.

 

  • You are responsible for managing overall data management processes and milestones on vehicle development projects.
  • You are responsible for developing and deploying CAD methods and processes.
  • You are responsible for DMU (Digital Mock-Up) generation and maintenance.
  • You are responsible for preparing the CAD and DMU manuals and training end users as well as providing support.
  • You are responsible for release follow-up.
  • You are responsible for supporting EDM daily operations.
  • You are responsible for promoting standardization and perform kaizen of internal & external data management processes.
  • You are responsible for providing functional reflections, determining process improvements and implementing change.
  • You are involved in new applications roll out to Toyota Suppliers and communication with them.

 

Your Profile

 For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)

 

You have

  • Education: Minimum Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Language: Fluent in English (business language).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Critical thinking, strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues with the ability to quickly absorb information
    • Proactive Team player
    • Strong organizational planning
    • Influence and change management
    • First class written and verbal communication; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
  • Technical skills: (Experience with any of below is any asset)

Experience with PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
