The Production Engineering Assembly team at Toyota Motor Europe (TME) is responsible for preparing vehicle manufacturing processes from concept to mass production. The role focuses on translating vehicle designs into efficient, high-quality assembly processes, ensuring targets for safety, cost, quality, and productivity are met. Key activities include feasibility analysis, process planning, equipment design, and continuous improvement. You work closely with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment, contribute to innovation through new technologies, and support project execution across European sites, with opportunities for hands-on learning, travel, and potential international assignments.

Team/division description
The Production Engineering (PE) function in TME is responsible for the manufacturing preparation of new model introduction.
The Vehicle Production Engineering ASSEMBLY Teams are in charge of the Final Assembly of the vehicle. They hold responsibility for the full process cycle, from initial feasibility study by simultaneous engineering, through process and equipment concepts, specifications, procurement, installation and commissioning activity to final trial confirmation and handover to mass production.
Your responsibilities
You will contribute to the realisation of Toyota Motor Europe’s vehicles & mobility projects by planning the future Vehicle Assembly production processes and equipments.
Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities including:
You will develop in this role through both the Toyota Graduate Development program and On-the-Job Development.
You will work in our Technical Centre in Zaventem, Belgium, and will also be travelling to our branch offices in the Production Plants.
Your development may be complemented by International Assignment in Europe / Japan depending on future business requirements and opportunities.
For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
